Problem: The existing joint and adjoining concrete slab had been damaged by constant fork truck traffic. This was now becoming a Health & Safety issue.

Application Situation

Expansion joint in a newsprint production floor.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets FPA-5 and FPA-6. The existing joint material was removed and the concrete slab edges rebuilt back to square using the Belzona 4111 before pouring the Belzona 2221 system to seal the joint.
