Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-2. A former was used to rebuild corrosion pitting and to create smooth and accurate landings for the VJ coupling.
Belzona Facts
The use of Belzona allowed for a quick, hot work free repair to be completed. The corrosion resistant properties of Belzona 1151 will eliminate future corrosion issues ensuring a permanent seal at this joint. This has become a standard procedure for repairing VJ coupled joints with 4" & 6" pipelines repaired using same procedure.
