Problem: Damaged existing rubber lining, the metal shell was punctured due to liquid medium contact to metal which create pinholes on the nozzle welding joint.

After surface preparation AND DURING SALT CONTAMINATION TEST

COMPLETED SURFACE CONDITIONER APPLICATION.

COMPLETED FLANGE FACE FORMING USING FLANGE FACE FORMER.

RUBEER LIGNING REPAIR COMPLETED

Application Situation

The rubber lining was detached starting from inner surface of the pipe up to the connected nozzle flange face. The nozzle size is 6 inches, a metal former was fabricated to maintain the required 5mm thickness inside the nozzle surface.
Flange Face Forming is required on the worn out rubber lining of the flange face.

Application Method

The application was done using a stiff bristle brush, provided plastic applicator, fabricated flange face former and a fabricated metal using Belzona 2921 as the surface conditioner and Belzona 2211 as the rebuilding material.
The application was done in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet VPF-03 and VPF-17
