Problem: Corrosion in lower third of vessel where water sits. Vessel removes liquid hydrocarbon drop-out, H2S and traces of HF.

Application Situation
Horizontal flare knock-out vessel. Normal operating temperature is maximum 60°C, but occasional peaks to 80°C for short periods.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5. After thorough cleaning, the vessel was grit blasted and coated with the Belzona® 5891.
