Belzona Facts
Tugs used for hauling log booms up and down the coastline. Original application had taken place in 1996. Sections of the kort nozzle had to be replaced because of excessive internal corrosion. Much of the original coating and rebuilt areas were still in good condition. The owner was happy to reapply Belzona once the new sections were in place and welding complete. Rebuilding the nozzles with Belzona 1311 eliminates excessive welding. Coating the repaired area with Belzona 1321 improves the abrasion resistance of the surfaces and eliminates bi-metallic corrosion.
