Belzona Facts
School required a quick and permanent solution to the issue. Traditional concrete/cement solutions were not appropriate as the bond strength would not be sufficient and it would be likely to shrink and crack creating additional problems. Hot work was out of the question and any products that would leave oily residue that could contaminate the children and their clothes were also not acceptable. Belzona® 4131 was chosen for its high bond strength, quick cure, high abrasion and impact resistance.  Its ability to be feather edged ensured it was flush with adajcent areas to the repair. The work was completed in one day and to the complete satisfaction of the school who asked us to return to repair a similar problem in another area of the playground.
