Application Situation

Three large gate valves for water transport from the local dam to the production area.

Application Method

The application was carried out according to Belzona Know-How System Leaflet CEP-1 and CEP-3. The internal welds, pitting and damage were filled with Belozna 1311 then two coats of Belzona 1341 were applied.

Belzona Facts

Restoration of 3 valves was carried out within three days, which saved the customer time and money and also eliminated the need to buy new valves. Two months after the restoration of the gate valves, the client protected several pipes and elbows in the water supply, the client now had complete restoration and protection of the whole water system. The client has reported that all equipment and repairs are still in good working condition.
