Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-1 for sealing cracks, porous welds, bolted and riveted joints on tanks. The surface was ground. Belzona 1591 was applied with an applicator and brush in accordance with Belzona Instructions For Use.

The client used $513.38 of Belzona 1591 for the repairs, saving more than $600,000.00 in repair costs and many months of downtime. Belzona 1591 exhibits excellent erosion-corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures, through a unique binary curing mechanism. This mechanism allows application and cure at ambient temperatures with additional higher temperature resistance being achieved in service through post curing.
