Application Situation

Multiple leaks on the oil rig's open drain system.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet VPF-11. Following gritblasting, the defect area was repaired and smoothed with a layer of Belzona 1111. The Belzona SuperWrap II system was installed in accordance with the pre-calculated design parameters for this T-section.

Belzona SuperWrapII was chosen as an alternative to a costly replacement of the pipe systems. Use of a compliant Belzona SuperWrap II design gave the customer confidence that the repair would be suitable for the specified lifetime and operating conditions.
