Problem: Two large roofs were experiencing leaks due to ageing mineral felt. This was causing issues to the operations inside the buildings.

Application Situation

By using a liquid applied membrane these roof sections could be made watertight whilst minimising disruption to the operations on the treatment works.

Application Method

The roofs were first power washed, treated with fungicide. Two coats of Belzona 3131 WG Membrane were then applied.

Belzona Facts

The 3131 WG Membrane minimised the potential for weather disruptions. It also had the benefit of being applied direct to felt without the need for a conditioner.
