Problem: The shell of separator suffers from severe abrasion and structural defects in that section would cause safety and operational problems.

After Blasting

Rebuilding the pitted areas using Belzona 1311 and then applying Belzona 1391T as an adhesive to bond Belzona 9811 Almina Tiles

Application completed after applying Belzona 9811 then grouted with Belzona 1813

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How system leaflet SHM-7.

The customer decided to use Belzona in this case because premature damage to the separator section caused downtime and required immediate repair by Belzona to extend the separator's life.
