Problem: Several VAT tank leg supports were corroded due to the break down of the original paint system. Some tanks had already been condemned due to metal loss and through wall defects in the tank supports.

Application Situation
VAT tank leg supports at a distillery. 
Application Method
The previous paint was removed by saturation blasting to keep the dust levels down on-site. The VAT legs were then coated by hand with Belzona 5811 in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5.
Belzona Facts
This system provides a long-term corrosion resistance and an aesthetically pleasing finish.
The application was re-visited 1 year later, and found to still be forming with no damage or repairs required.
