Problem: The customer noticed small cavities in the casing due to pitting corrosion during inspection and were concerned about the life of the equipment as this could lead to failure.

Application Situation

Belzona products extend the life of equipment and ensure increased efficiency. Customers can operate longer by avoiding unnecessary shutdowns for maintenance.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-3, CEP-5 and CEP-10. Belzona 1111 was applied to the the pitted area and the casing was further protected with two coats of Belzona 1341.

The customer had used Belzona products before and was convinced that Belzona could avoid unnecessary shutdowns. Belzona helped the customer increase production and reduce shutdown costs.
