Problem: This chiller has been running uncoated since new for years in a building in downtown Dallas. Bad water treatment has left the chiller with a lot of damage and build up.

Application Situation

The only option was to do a Belzona application on this chiller. Second option was buying a new chiller, which was expensive for the customer.

Application Method

This chiller had no efficiency left . It was decided to do a full Belzona repair system on it. First the chiller was cleaned and then grit blasted. Belzona 1121 was used to repair holes and metal loss in the chiller face. After that Belzona 1321 two good system was applied to chiller . Belzona was left to dry and it was finished off by taking out the corks out of the tubes and finishing up the repair.
