Problem: A community Junior football team were using a modified container as their main changing and shower facility. The roof and walls were found to be letting in rain water and needed to be sealed

Application Situation

The community football team has limited resources and almost zero budget. The local authority stepped in to help and make good the team's facilities, preventing water ingress and giving them a useable space for changing and after-match activities

Application Method

High pressure wash all joints and remove as much of the previous failed repair as possible
Wire brush all target areas to remove any loose, rusty and dirty particles
Clean down all target area with Belzona 9111
Mix and apply 2 x coats of Belzona 3121 incorporating Belzona 9331 reinforcing sheet to all target areas on walls and roof

Belzona Facts

The only other alternative considered was to replace the container. Budgets did not allow for this so they called on Belzona, which has proved itself many times to the local authority
