Problem: A pinhole leak had developed on the side of a sprinkler tank

Initial surface preparation

Leak sealed with Belzona 9611 & additional surface preparation carried out

Plate bonded in place with Belzona 1161

Application Situation

A cold applied repair was required to seal the leak & provide long term reinforcement to the damaged area

Application Method

The initial area was first prepared back to bare metal & the leak was sealed with Belzona 9611. Once this was done the larger area was prepared using an angle grinder. A plate was then bonded in place using Belzona 1161 UW Metal

By using the Belzona repair system the repair was able to be completed without damaging the tank's internal lining.
