Problem: At 10:00 pm, a large leak was identified underneath a large recreational pool, spa and flume complex on a Holiday Facility. The Site Services Manager was extremely worried about the severity of the leak, which rapidly became worse. Around midnight, a message was received by the local Senior Sales Engineer to request an emergency team attend site with a view to carrying out a temporary repair. A contractor was available and mobilisation was carried out the next day, as was a successful repair, winding the service main back up to full pressure.

Application Situation
A replacement pipe and associated fixings could not be sourced locally. The Site Manager was expecting months before being able to replace the hardware.
Belzona and the contractor responded to repair the leaks within 16 hours of the problem being initially identified

An estimate of over 50 litres of processed water a minute was leaking. The lost water, energy from heating it and the cleaning up process, as well as the possible damage from flooding was estimated to threaten the company with £1000's. costs.
A year on and the repair is still effective, showing no signs of leaks or water loss
