Application Situation

Burning and welding were impossible on the site, the client could only only ask Belzona of their involvement at similar sites. Fortunately, Belzona have pioneered a solution for Glass Fused Tanks and were able to offer a spec and method

Application Method

Prepare substrate using 80 grit emery
Mix Belzona 1111 and wet out the target and rear side of Belzona SuperWrap II composite patch
Build up Belzona 1111 to a peak on the patch and press onto the damaged area, securing with straps, magnets or sprag
Allow to cure
Mask up the area and apply Belzona 5831 Barrier coating to repair area
Allow to cure
