Problem: Repeated failed expansion joints meant the client needed to rethink the approach for a solution which would be durable and lasting.

Application Situation
On many occasion, other materials, mainly the general polysulphides had been offered as a solution. The client needed a durable solution
Application Method
All target areas were cleaned and vacuumed, then masked along the sides to give clean lines
A foam backer rod was inset into the joint at a depth of half that of the joint's width
Belzona 4911 was applied to all target areas
The Belzona 4521 was mixed and applied in accordance with the IFU
This was then poured into the joint, smoothed over, masking removed and left to cure

The Belzona 4521 held it's place, giving it ample time to cure, giving a long lasting and robust solution
