Application Situation
The plant was not able to shut down the system so a solution for a live leak was requested and the end user and contractor knew Belzona would have a solution and the products for the application.
The cost was under $3,000.00 for the repair that saved the plant from shutting down the system that would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars 2/3 weeks of down time.
Application Method
Heavy rust was removed by a tapping the pipe with a hammer and than the preparation was completed using pneumatic air hand tooling, needle gun and grinder.
