Drain grate for swimming pool frame gets Belzona 4111 repair

Problem: The grate perimeter seal was cracked, allowing water to migrate through and get under the tiles.

The previous product was non-existent in the cavity. Area shows that the previous product used was no longer present in the cavity.

Drain cover set in place for application.

The area taped off and ready for application.

Filled and finished off using Belzona 4111.

Application Situation

The facility was using products that couldn't withstand the conditions and being replaced every year. Belzona was called to apply a long-term solution that has proven to last 5+ years.

Application Method

An angle grinder was used to prep the surface then Belzona conditioner and 4111 magma quartz were installed to seal and stabilize the grate.

Belzona Facts

Rather than replace every year, this repair has lasted well past the five-year mark. The cost-saving and downtime that the customer has experienced has made this repair a staple within these facilities.
