Application Situation

Beltech received an emergency call from the plant which was in partial shutdown due to the pipe failure. The job was completed that day over a 6.hour period.

Application Method

The GRP was cleaned by grit blasting and a steel plate was bonded over the hole to act as a support for the reinforcing wrap

Belzona Facts

Carrying out the repair allowed the plant to resume production. Replacing the pipe was not possible within a reasonable time period
