The application of Belzona® 5811 was carried out using an airless spray system. As such, this large vessel was done at a fraction of the time when compared to conventional application methods. The selected Belzona coating system was chosen for its effectiveness against the anticipated corrosion from the acidic nature of the crude. In addition, it presented a cost-effective and enviromentally-friendly product to apply.
