Problem: The gray and black tanks inside the marine vessel were suffering from coating failure and corrosion issues. The main flange also required repair from wear.

Application Situation

The gray and black tanks inside a marine vessel were suffering from coating failure and corrosion issues and the main flange from wear.

Application Method

After solvent cleaning, and then with the use of a power tool, tank internal surfaces were prepared to SP11. Flanges were also rebuilt using Belzona 1111. Two coats of Belzona 5811 were then applied.
