Problem: The roof is almost fifty years old and was facing deterioration due to no protection from sun, rain or UV.

You can see in this photo the water standing due to poor slope and deep pitting in the concrete caused from deterioration.

After pressure washing the roof we applied Belzona 3911 Conditioner.

Next we applied four coats of Belzona 3111 to help fill the pitting and create a complete seal.

Application Situation
In this application we not only saved our customer several days in application process but also protect a new water treatment control panel they had to replace due to a past water leak. The replacement cost of the control panel was $350,000. We applied this coating in just three days letting our client install the new control panel several days in advance.
Application Method
For this application we used a steam pressure washer to remove all dirt and debris from the roof. Then we applied Belzona 3911 and 3111 using 1/2 inch nap rollers to ensure the coating penetrated the pitting areas in the surface.
Belzona Facts
The alternative was for our client to skim the roof with a concrete pour or to apply a rubber roof. Then we applied cost of either was greater than the Belzona solution plus the time it would have taken to complete either project. There was not much difference in cost savings but we have completed many waterproofing projects for this client and have built a great reputation with them. They trusted Belzona to protect a new $350,000 water treatment control panel. We implemented a 6 month inspection plan to ensure the roof is properly maintained. It is up for inspection again in February 2026.
