Problem: Non-skid safety markings leading into the customers engineering offices was wearing off after 14 years of service. The customer, a long time user of Belzona non-skid solutions was so impressed with the longevity of the 5231 that Belzona was their only choice to refresh the areas.

Application Situation
The customer needed a solution and product that could be applied over the weekend while offices would not be utilized. Belzona 5231 provided a proven method that would cure in time, and be ready to go on Monday morning.
Application Method
The surface was prepared by power washing to remove any loose coatings as well as dirt and debris. A diamond grinder was used to abrade the surface to provide an acceptable substrate. The first coat of 5231 was applied, then 9221 was broadcasted in for nonskid properties. A second coat of 5231 was applied within the overcoat window in accordance with the Belzona instructions for use.
