Application Situation

The customer discovered this spool piece during their spring outage and needed a quick turnaround to get this back in place to get back up and going.

Application Method

For this application we first blasted the surface to a 3 mil profile followed by cleaning with 100% MEK. Next we applied two coats of Belzona 1321 using a stiff bristle brush.

They chose Belzona due to other applications we have completed for them and the durability of the Belzona 1321 along with being able to have this piece completed and back to the customer in less than 24 hours saving them thousands in down time.
