The Distributor was contacted by the Smelter Mine to inspect the vessels and provide a suitable and cost effective solution. Application Situation
Belzona 4111 alongside 3111 is a highly effective, cost saving method for tank base sealing and repairs. The preparation, cleaning and application was completed within 5 days, working within the Belzona 4111 and 3111 IFU specifications. We have assisted the plant with similar Belzona application work before, and they were happy to proceed with the Belzona solution.
Application Method
Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) was used to rebuild the concrete structure. With Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane) breathable, microporous system applied to seal between the steel tank and concrete.
