Problem: Tan was suffering damage from age as well as a couple of very cold winters that caused the tank to crack and one corner to separate. The customer was losing a lot of water.

Application Situation

My customer needed a quick solution for the repair and a coating to protect the tank from future damage. the project including product was around $275,000. To replace the tank would have been years and 800,000 plus.

Application Method

Tank was pressured washed and set a day to dry then primer was applied to the area for the concrete rebuild. Belzona 3121 and cloth was used on the cracks on the side and the bottom of the tank Then one coat of Belzona 5811 was sprayed and Belzona 5812 DW was sprayed in the proper overcoat window.
