Problem: Previous floor coating was not bonded well in many places and needed to be replaced. This is a high traffic interior crosswalk in the plant and needed a non-slip surface.

Application Situation
Replace existing floor coating to high traffic crosswalk.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-3. Existing coating was removed using a walk behind floor grinder before applying the Belzona® 5231 system. applicators used spiked boots to aid access.
Belzona Facts
Belzona® 5231 was chosen because the plant was familiar with many of our products already used in the plant. We were also the best option because of the quick cure time. The application started on Friday evening and floor was prepared, two coats of Belzona® 5231 applied and have them walking on it first thing Monday morning.
