Application Situation
Tail Shaft of U.S. Navy Ship.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet SOS-2. The shaft was grit blasted to an SSPC-SP10 finish and then coated with Belzona 2941. The shaft areas were then coated with Belzona 2141 and finally with a fiberglass coating.

Belzona is expected to last through the 5 year Tail Shaft inspections by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
