Application Situation
24 wet cylinder liners from engine of 0.5MW diesel generator.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet ENC-6. Pitting was filled with Belzona® 1311 before providing overall erosion corrosion protection with Belzona® 1391 coating.
Belzona Facts
Unavailability of replacement parts was remedied by the use of Belzona which will extend the service life of the liners.
