塗布方法
The application was carried out using a modified version of Belzona Know-How leaflet CEP-2. The damaged areas were cut back, rebuilt with Belzona® 1111 and machined back to tolerance.
Belzonaの事実
Attempted weld repairs had only caused further damage and replacements would take 6 months to deliver at a cost of £40,000. More importantly if another fire pump became inoperative the rig would be shut down at £100,000 per day losses. The Belzona application cost £1,400 and all the spiders were available for re-assembly in less than 1 week.
