Método de aplicação
The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet ENC-10. Doubler plates were bonded around the new pipe penetration with Belzona 1221. Belzona 9341 was used to span corner openings and wrap to new outlet piping. All the contact surfaces were prepared with an angle grinder. Belzona 2111 was applied directly over the bonded plate repair to restore the rubber lining.
Fatos Belzona
The paper mill undergoing a planned outage for routine repairs included this repair of a leaking outlet from the demineralization tank. A compacted time frame necessitated the use of several materials to repair the leakage prior to start up. The customer was satisfied with the ability to apply Belzona 2111 directly over Belzona 1221 that enabled the job to be done without cure delay and within the startup time frame.
