Application Situation
Shaft of 4.6 m length and weighing 7,2 tonnes from crusher which is critical part ofthe minerals plant.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet MPT-1. Shaft was turned down 1.5mm undersize and left with coarse thread before being rebuilt with Belzona® 1111 followed by machining back to original diameter.

Complete repair was carried out within 2 days. Customer avoided loss of production and saved considerable monies when compared with alternatve methods.
