Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Unit in Biomass Plant
The application was carried out in accordance with TCC-1 and TCC-3. Belzona 1111 was used to rebuild the pitting damage. In deeply pitted areas doubler plates were bonded into place. Afterwards the full tank was lined with Belzona 5892.
The application from start to finish including surface preparation lasted just 3 weeks. While the DAF was down the plant was running at 50% of its capacity therefore the quick turnaround time was very beneficial to the customer.
