Application Situation
School had been suffering water ingress via lead flashings & gutters on four boarding house roofs.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with modified versions of Belzona Know-How System Leaflets RPA-6 & RPA-8.
Belzona Facts
The Belzona solution was carried out over two weeks. Belzona® 3131 bonding to all of the substrates meant that the old asphalt did not require complete removal which could have led to damage to the slate tiles. The results were a complete success allowing the school continued use of the boarding houses. To replace the damaged asphalt with traditional lead work would have been over budget & involved hot work stopping the use of the boarding houses & the summer school events.
