Application Situation

Fiberglass 36" pipe of a cooling tower.

Application Method

The repair area and a pre-fabricated steel plate were sandblasted. The steel plate was bonded with Belzona 1212 followed by an application of the Superwrap II System.

Belzona Facts

The pipe burst after another repair had taken place. Belzona Team responded to an emergency call from this Customer promptly, and carried out the repair in 5 hours within the same day as the call was received. The cooling tower and the plant were back on line the next morning.
