Problem: Process tank was in a deplorable state after years of wear due to erosion corrosion.

Tank after surface preparation and rebuilding with Belzona 1121.

After wrapping top part of tank with superwrap II, the internal is being coated with Belzona 1341.

Tank External after coating with Belzona 5111.

Application Situation

Customer decided to refurbish with Belzona to give protection which would be the same approach if a new tank is purchased.

Application Method

-Tank was cleaned using a power tool and a cleaner/ degreaser.
-Internal of the tank was rebuild with Belzona 1121.
-The worn part at the top was reinforced with Belzona superwrap II.
- The internal was then coated with Belzona 1341 and external with Belzona 5111.

Belzona was able to bring tank back to life and it was put back to service afterwards.
