Problem: The City wanted to protect their three new 205,000 gpm pumps from the effects of erosion/corrosion.

These pumps were delivered on flatbed trucks from California after being shipped over from Japan.

Application Method

Grit blasted to a 3-mil profile and spray applied Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide) with two 10-mil coats.

Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide) is a Hydrophobic coating and this provided a benefit to the client.
