Problem: An uncomfortable step was creating serious problems on the transition from rooms to bathrooms at a healthcare facility. The patients were tripping at a serious pace. Belzona came to the rescue.

Existing transition from room to bathroom.

Removal of tripping hazard and surface preparation.

A new transition created with Belzona 4131.

Belzona 4411 applied as topcoat.

Application Situation

The medical facility had references of similar jobs completed at other facilities and were looking for a permanent solution.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-1. After removing existing tripping hazard and excavating to create a solid foundation, Belzona 4131 was used to fill the space. Then, Belzona 4411 was used to complete a smooth transition.

Belzona products and know-how procedures have proven to perform excellently. The medical facility didn't want to keep dealing with these issues every other year. 13 transitions were created with the Belzona system for this project on first floor. There are four floors more to complete.
