Problem: Pump supplier required a coating for the internals of an old split case pump placed at a Desalination plant, during a refurbishment.

Application Situation

Coating the internals of the split case pump provided internal protection and extended the life for up to an additional 10 years.

Application Method

Pump was received into our workshop. Surface prep and clean carried out and an internal coating using Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide). External of the pump was coated in a 2 pac paint as per customers specification.

Belzona Facts

Entire application cost approximately $16500 AUD and saved the cost of a new pump replacement in excess of $50,000 AUD in the near future.
