Problem: Corrosion develops under the floors of these tanks due to weather ingress. The floors are very expensive to replace.

Finished application. Customer will go back with their tank paint to touch up areas that were grit blasted but not coated.

Application Situation

Sealing these tank chimes with Belzona prevents moisture from infiltrating the area under the tank floor, preserving the integrity of the floor for decades.

Application Method

The concrete pad and the steel tank were grit blasted, Belzona 3931 (WG Membrane Conditioner) was brush applied followed by two coats of Belzona 3131 (WG Membrane) which was also brush applied. Belzona 9351 (WG Reinforcing Sheet) was incorporated for added flexural strength.
