Application Situation

Repair and coating internal surface of wil tray machine wide 1.6 m. length 16 m.

Application Method

1. Carbon steel surface will be prepare by grit blasting with copper slag to give a minimum depth at 75 microns and surface cleanliness by Swedish standard Sa 2.5
2. Clean and brush away any loose contaminate then cleaning the surface with MEK.
3. Apply first coat with Belzona 5892 HT Immersion grade at dry film thickness 200 microns.
4. If find pitting damage area repair with Belzona 1121 Super XL Metal.
5. Apply second coat with of Belzona 5892 HT Immersion grade at dry film thickness 200 microns.

Belzona Facts

Belzona 5892 exhibits low surface bloom and excellent inter-coat adhesion enabling 2-coat application without the need for frost blasting. It has been formulated in light colours to assist visibility and provide good inspection characteristics in poorly lit vessels.
