Application Situation

Due to the explosion risk inside flour silos no hot works were permitted.

Application Method

A pneumatic MBX Bristle Blaster was used to prepare the metal surface. Plates were then bonded with Belzona 1111 to reinforce the holed areas. Two coats of Belzona 1341 were then applied to provide a low friction surface to prevent hand up of flour.

By using the Belzona solution for these repairs they could be carried out quicker & safer than the traditional weld option.
