Problem: Leaking lubricant oil, cutting fluids, inks or other chemicals from production machinery which seeps/spills/runs across the floor and into pedestrian walkways. This causes environmental as well as safety problems.

Application Situation

Created a containment area around the machinery to prevent potential spills from causing a hazardous work area.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets TCC-9&15. Prepared the surface by grinding (with dust extraction) and then marked and coated with Belzona 4911 (MagmaTX Conditioner), cut the pipe in half length ways which are then filled with Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) to create containment trap.

Like all other Belzona applications, it was done with minimal downtime, performed in-situ and cost-effective. It protects the environment and addresses serious safety concerns. The application has been in service for 6 years and still in perfect condition today. The client also commented that he was delighted by the level of service offered by the local team.
