Problem: Customer pulled several HEX for routine inspections and discovered bad pitting on one the Cooling Water Heads. They were in a small Pit-Stop and had 3 days to get this repaired and back in service.

Application Situation

This was an emergency for the customer as they could not restart this unit without their cooling water HEX. We were able to load the head and take it to our shop. Blast and coat and return in 24 hours.

Application Method

We blasted and filled pitting with 1111, coated with 2 coats of 1391T.
