Application Situation
Ship sea water inlet valves.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-03. Damaged rubber surface was undercut and abraded to achieve a mechanical bond. The surface was conditioned with Belzona 2911 and allowed the cure. Then Belzona 2211 was applied and allowed to cure.
Belzona Facts
The ship had limited 2 days deperture time which required quick and durable solution. Replacing the valve was very costly and time consuming. Belzona is-situ solution was the most efficient and effective way.
