Application Situation

Belzona provided the most effective, economical, and rapid solution for the customer. The repair was completed, and the vessel was returned to operation within two days.

Application Method

Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) was applied to rebuild areas of pitting and to fair the substrate with the aid of plastic applicators. After the surface rebuilding was completed, the first coat of Belzona 5821 (dusty grey) was applied. After the first coat, the second coat of Belzona 5821 (yellow) was applied to complete the protective system.
