Problem: A bushing was found to be leaking SF-6 gas. A seal was required to stop this leak.

Existing coating this was removed & the surface prepared.

Wetting out substrate.

Belzona 7311 built up & Belzona 9341 reinforcement added.

Application Situation

The bushing could be degassed for the duration of the application & cure.

Application Method

The existing coating was removed & the surface prepared. Belzona 7311 was then built up with layers of Belzona 9341 reinforcement sheet.

The repair was completed in a few hours & cured in 2 days prior to re-gassing & service.
